Jambo! Radio

Jambo! Radio in London

Bringing African & Caribbean Voices, Music & News to London

Jambo! Radio is Scotland's community-led radio station for African and Caribbean voices — and wherever you're listening from, London is part of our community too. Tune in for live talk, music, news and culture, made by and for the people we serve.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Jambo! Radio began as a platform for African and Caribbean voices in Scotland and has grown into a community-led creative industries, employability and skills hub. We use broadcasting and digital media training as a practical pathway into education, employability, confidence-building and social participation for Black and racially minoritised communities, refugees, asylum seekers and young people.

Our programming spans talk, music, news and culture — including shows in Swahili, Pidgin, Igbo, Yoruba, French and Lingala — because language shouldn't be a barrier to feeling at home. Listeners in London tune in for the same mix of honest conversation and cultural celebration that our Scotland-based community relies on every day.
