Scottish Civic Trust and Outdoors For You are co-hosting a series of African and Caribbean heritage walking tours in Glasgow. The tours are funded by the European Capital of Sport Fund and the Diverse Heritage team at Scottish Civic Trust.

The series will be a 3 separate walking tours with a different aspects of the African and Caribbean experience being explored in each individual walk.

The tours will consist of the contributions made from members of the diaspora over the decades and how many of individuals from African countries and the Caribbean islands have made a home in the city.

The tours will start from the Scottish Civic Trust building in Merchant City and ending with an reflective activity and a cultural meal from a local restaurant.

All tours will be facilitated by a tour guide who is knowledgeable about the contributions of African and Caribbean individuals linked to Glasgow.
